Pavements and paths
Mastic asphalt on footpaths
Mastic asphalt is the ideal construction material for footpaths because the high level of evenness guarantees an excellent grip. Due to the surface having only a few joints (in comparison with paved surfaces for example) the maintenance costs are relatively low. In winter snow clearing is facilitated significantly. Mastic asphalt footpaths can be walked on directly after production.

Parking decks
Surfaces of parking decks that are waterproofed with mastic asphalt boast an extremely long life and require minimum maintenance. Mastic asphalt surfaces are resistant to shearing stress from vehicle traffic and are not influenced by alternating freeze/thaw conditions or constant exposure to moisture.
Underground garages
Used in underground garages mastic asphalt provides a surface that is impermeable to liquids and protects structural concrete elements against road salt. Fuel and oil spills will hardly impair the performance of mastic asphalt surfaces in underground garages. Should repair measures become necessary, the areas can be made fit for use again very quickly.
Mastic asphalt for low-noise road surfaces
Mastic asphalt wearing courses on roads are characterised by high resistance to deformation and a high skid resistance that meets the required standard even after many years of use. Mastic asphalt road surfaces have a long service life, they can feature excellent low-noise properties and are environmentally friendly because recyclable.
